1500 Litre (300 gallon) Emergency Milk Tank
Purpose designed, hygienic, cost effective,emergency milk storage containers.
Made from food grade medium density polyethylene, this tank is extremely strong and durable with high levels of UV protection.
The 7mm thick wall has good insular properties helping to ensure that the milk remains at a constant temperature.
Tank design meets latest regulations required by main Dairy Companies.
Four grooves in top rim of tank aid strapping to trailer for safe transportation.
2'' ball outlet valve has stainless steel coupling enabling tanker driver to connect directly to the tank.
*Latest regulations stipulate that tanker drivers can not collect from tanks which have no outlet.
This tank will cost you less than the value of milk it could save in one day.
Can also be used as water or liquid feed storage facility.
Large outlet ideal for rapid filling of silage additive drums or sprayer tanks.
Coloured Tanks:
Coloured tanks are non stock items - delivery varies from 10-14 working days (generally sooner). Tanks made using the following colours can be supplied with a WRAS (manufacturers assurance) certificate; *Natural, *Black and *Boat Blue M2—018D. Coloured tanks are made from food grade polymer.
WRAS APPROVAL:
Products purchased from Tanks Direct which are specified as "suitable for use with potable water" can be supplied with the assurance that it has been manufactured using polymer that has current and valid WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approval - except where specified or if using a non WRAS approved coloured polymer. The company in no way suggests that the aforementioned product type is WRAS Approved, the approval applies solely to polymers used in manufacture. A written certificate of assurance is available upon request.
